ACCESS Tips
Create a comment that explains a tip you have for other students who are learning and using ACCESS.
Here are the guidelines:

- Make sure your tip works.
- Before your click on Publish, minimize this window and test your own tip.
- Take your time. Proofread your comment and check for grammar.
- Use complete sentences.Keep it simple.
- If your tip requires multiple steps, list them separately with enough detail.
Follow the example below to meet the minimum expectation.
Example:
Tip - Copy and Paste a cell's formatting only.
- Click on the cell you want to copy the Formatting for.
- Right click and choose Copy.
- Click on the cell(s) you want to copy the formatting to.
- Choose Edit - Paste Special from the Standard Tool Bar.
- Choose Format Only and OK.

When using access, you have to make sure that you follow the directions very carefully. If you don't, you could mess something small up and then have to start the whole thing over again. So always make sure that you follow the directions very closely for the step-by-step and the projects, and that you understand the concepts.
when useing Access you have to remember to manage your time. you cannot save so you have to make sure you have enough time to complete the project.

Sometimes, access can be confusing to open. Make sure that you read the steps on the day lesson in microsoft word carefully before you ask everyone for help.
Access tips-
When using access you are going to get lost. Using the wizard you make make our own custom table.
When using Access you should read the directions carefully because if you mess up you have to start all over.
While trying to open a file from the share drive you can not type or change things within it. So you must go to Tool's then Database Utitlities, then convert data base from there click on to prior Access Database Version after that it will take you to save it. Save it in your file then close the program. After this you must open it from your file a window will pop up click on open database then click ok. Now you should be able to type and make changes!
When learning a new concept with access, it is a good idea to go to the help menu and read some of the information they provide on new topics. you may be suprised how helpful it could be.
For an access tip you have to watch how long you take becasue it doesnt save. So you have to make sure you do not run out of time or you will have to start over.
You can creat a table in the wizard.
When using access you should go throgh all the steps very slowly to make sure you understand what you are doing, because access can be very confusing and difficult.
