Topic- Powerpoint Slide Formatting
Details- If you're trying to format a slide, and you're getting stuck, click the 'Format'button((On the Standard Toolbar)) and go down the list to 'Slide Layout' and pick one of the layouts! It's easy!
Plus you dont have to go through the Wizard to pick your layout.

Topic-Shortcut to creating a new slide
Details- If you need to create a new slide for your presentation, an easy and fast way is to go up to Menu toolbar and click the icon that looks like a little piece of paper with a star on it.

a tip for useing powerpoint would be putting a background in that is saved in your h drive. right click on the slide you want to change the background in select background,click on the drop down arrow,and click on fill effects. this is bring you almost to the end. click the tab for picture then click select picture. select you picture by hitting insert. then hit ok, after this you and eathor hit apply wich would apply it only to that exact slide or you can hit apply to all wich this would make it your defalt background.

Topic-Powerpoint Tip
To see all your slides at once just click the slide sorter button The button on the lower left corner and it is a picture of four little boxes. It will show you all your slides in order.

Tip - To preview your slide show, click the box looking icon in the lower left corner.

To change the font on all of the pages, you can just go to the slide master. To go the the slide master, point to master on the wiew menu, and then click slide master. It helps you a lot so you don't have to go to each and every slide to change the font.

you can edit and create hyperlinks that contain sounds and animation by using the action settings command. to use it click action settings on the slide show menu.

detail- useing the slide sorter veiw helps you so veiw all your slides at the same time, without having to click on them indavidualy.

Details- you can click on slide show. then go to custom animation adn you can change the order and time, effects,chart effects, and multimedia settings to your slide show!

When viewing a slide show, and its in the middle of it, just right click on your mouse, and go to "end show" or push "Esc"

Remember when printing, go to print set up, which is located on the top of the screen, by the tool bar, or under file. if you go to print set up, you'll see exactully what your going to print, is going to look like before you print it. *meg

if you want your slides to look more intersting, you should change the color scheme of the slide. To change the color scheme of a slide, simple go to format, slide color scheme, pick your color scheme, then click apply .

If you accidently go too fast during your slide presentation you can either click the back arrow or the number of the slide you'd like to go to then enter

When your in powerpoint and you want a new slide, you can just go right up to the toolbar, and click on the little white piece of paper, next to the zoom, and that will give you a new slide right away.

To add the slide number to the bottom of the slide go to View on the top left tool bar click "Head and Footer" and make sure the "slide" tab is selected. Locate on the bottom; the word "Slide Number" and select it. All your slides will now have a number on the bottom of the slide to show what slide is which.

-custom animation-
if you want your slides to appear adomatically and on a timed schedule go to:

1. Slide show
2. Custom Animation
3. Select the certain things on the slide that you would like to aninmate
4. Select automitaclly
a. As many seconds as you want
5. Then click on the effects tab and put in sounds.

To sort your slides click on the slide sorter view at the bottom of your screen to rearange your slides.
